Established in 1991 by Jessie & Russ Biglow “Biglow Farms” is renowned for excellence.
In the beginning Russ started colts whilst competing in the bareback circuit. Winning numerous rodeos his reputation for being a hand spread far and wide. As well as roping & branding Russ was proficient in everything he tried.
Jessie started at a young age competing in the Hunter & Jumper feild. Her abilities even in her teen years, made the hunter & jumper community take notice. It was only natural progression for her to train professionally. Jessie won many convened awards and prestigious championships.
As their family grew, so too did the business ventures. The children’s sport brought a new line of disciplines to the already well established “Biglow Barn’s” repertoire.
Cutting horses, barrel Horses & rope horses became a huge part of the family team.
The move towards western competitions was originally for the children but it gave Jessie & Russ a new range of sport horses to work with.
Today, “Biglow Farms” is known for having the highest caliber of horses in very discipline. Cutting being the new family focus, as Jessie & Russ step back from training professionally they have sourced out the best of the best trainers to help educate their ever growing herd. Maddie, Clayton & Jessie have all been very successful with the transition into the world of NCHA & AQHA Cutting. Clayton was third in the national high school rodeo championship, whilst Maddie has been successful in aged events & showing in the prestigious World Mercuria series being one of the youngest riders to ever compete.
Moving into this new chapter for “Biglow Farms” brings wonderful new breeding prospects and opportunities.
